The deep throated bells boom on, sounding above the rush and roar of the flames, the cries of the fleeing populace and the shrikes of the dying and all the confused terror and frenzy of destruction. Napoleon's dream of winter quarters for his army is vanishing before his eyes. 我成功了！！在ubuntu 上使用picasa 3.8 中文版
picasa 3.8早就推出了！！但是，在ubuntu 釋出的只是3.0版,實在有些不夠意思，在網路上有許多人用wine模擬windows安裝picasa 3.8，但是，中文字型無法正常顯示！！
所以，我先安裝 picasa for linux 3.0版，安裝完後，應用程式-美工繪圖-（就會產生）picasa 和picasa font settings 兩個選項，簡單說來，利用後者就可以管理前者的字型，所以......
我就再用wine 安裝picasa 3.8 於桌面上，然後複製3.8到原本3.0的位置！！成功囉！！

你需要以下幾種東東
1.參考http://mkbfb.blogspot.com/2008/01/ubunturootsudorootubuntu.html，建立類似windows的檔案總管，在複製檔案時可以避免許多權限管理的問題！！因為linux非常重視檔案權限的管理，但也造成了一些些不方便。
2.安裝picasa 3.0 for linux
請到http://picasa.google.com/linux/
下載
http://dl.google.com/linux/deb/pool/non-free/p/picasa/picasa_3.0-current_i386.deb
(其他版本我沒有試過)
先安裝起來！！（安裝過程略）
3.接下來下載目前最新版的picasa3.8 for windows

4. 安裝wine(第一次可能要很久)，請在ubuntu 軟體中心搜尋wine微軟視窗相容層
（老手略...）
5.將步驟3.下載的檔案拉到桌面，點擊左鍵，點擊屬性，點擊權限，將允許檔案作為程式執行
打勾
6.點擊安裝picasa 3.8
安裝好了嗎？如果完成了，桌面上會出現picasa的捷徑。執行看看
果然中文出不來！！
7.點選步驟1.的啟動圖示，輸入root密碼，就會出現root的
檔案系統
8.點選你的home家目錄，（檢視..顯示隱藏檔）這一定要打開,否則你找不到你的.wine目錄
9.找到.wine/drive_c/Program files/Google/picasa3的資料夾，複製他，然後取代掉opt/google/picasa3.0/wine/drive_c/Program Files /Google項下，原本的picasa3資料夾！！
10.這時，你就可以使用3.0的字型設定器(picasa font settings）來管理3.8版的picasa囉!
